M142 Animal Discoveries

Why are lady bugs red and black?  How does a slug move without legs?  Why do owls have fuzzy feathers?  Seek out, act out, and explore the amazing ways creatures use their paws, tongues, noses and ears to explore their world.  Learn about your animal friends through group games, trail explorations and creative play.  Get inspired in our laboratory while bringing your favorite creatures to life by creating masks, play dough creatures, and other colorful inventions.  From fins to feathers and tracks to tails, discover the uniqueness of wild animals.
